Her cloak tells stories through pattern and symbol, and her face reflects generations of BIPOC women who have carried the burden of injustice and still passed down love, insight, and resistance.
She reminds us that liberation doesn’t start in courts—it begins in stories, in rituals, in blood memory. Wisdom is the voice that echoes long after the rally cries fade, insisting we remember who we are and what we deserve.
Within the context of Songs of Sovereignty, she articulates that sovereignty is not simply granted. It is claimed through persistence, safeguarded through care, and carried forward through generations who refuse to let it be erased.
