Yoruba Floral Practices: A Floral Arrangement Workshop at It’s OK* Studios Saturday, March 8, 2025

In this hands-on session, attendees gained insight into Anjeola Salami’s research methods and creative process while crafting floral arrangements inspired by Yoruba traditions and motifs. This unique workshop guided participants as they handpicked their florals, personalized their designs, and created a handcrafted arrangement to take home.

Anjeola Salami is the founder of AnjBlooms, a floral design studio specializing in thoughtful, conceptual floristry inspired by Yoruba motifs. Each unique arrangement is designed to reflect her clients' experiences, with her broader mission being to document West African floral principles and bring the histories of African flower traditions to life.
